Run As Administrator When Using Pro Tools on Windows



Run As Administrator is an optimization that should be enabled for EVERYONE using Pro Tools on a Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 PC.

There are a couple different ways you can run Pro Tools as Administrator, which I will show in the video below, but the best way is to setup Pro Tools to default to Run As Administrator using the following method:

How To Have Multiple Plugin Windows Open At the Same Time

Have you every had 2 or more plugins in Pro Tools, and you wanted to adjust each plugin without having to close each window in order to see the next plugin UI? If so, then this video will show you the answer. This video talks about the 'Target' button that is on each plugin window, and what it does.
