Using 2 or more Monitors/Screens with Pro Tools on Windows OS

To really get the most out of your computer and Pro Tools, you should consider adding another monitor if you currently are just working on one. Having two monitors (or more) will increase your productivity with Pro Tools and other applications, including: word processors, video editing, video watching, browsing the internet, photo editing, even game playing ect....

By having two or more monitors, you do not have to constantly move around windows so you can see what is going on in the Mix or Edit windows. You can also have the Mix and Edit windows open and showing at all times - each on their own monitor.

But to accomplish this - on Windows - you need to have the
Pro Tools container window stretched across the monitors you wish to use the Mix and Edit windows on. Many plug-in windows can be placed outside of the container window, but the Mix and Edit window must be inside the container.

So, below is a short video that will show you exactly how to accomplish this.
